Comedy Roulette is coming

Okay, so I couldn’t resist the lure of trying to put my own virtual gig together.

With that in mind...

Been thinking long and hard about how it could work and it’s not going to run as traditional sets, it’s going to be part show and part game. Borrowing heavily from Mock The Week, your host (me - Vix) will hold a numbered list of 30 possible subjects - from everyday to current affairs - which comics will be given a few days in advance so they can think about any jokes or stories that might fit. 

Which subjects come up on the night will be left to fate… and fate will operate via a bingo machine. The subjects will be determined by whatever numbers come up in the balls, and comics with a relevant bit of material can jump in. 

The jokes can be anything from one liners to songs and stories, with the best joke of the night winning £25. The key is to keep it moving so no one feels like they’re a tiny person chatting under a belljar into the void. We’re going to have fun.
